Cystic fibrosis charities and non-profit organizations work tirelessly to help raise the profile of the disease and also fund vital research into better treatments, with the hopes of eventually discovering a cure.
The Cystic Fibrosis Trust in the U.K. has dedicated a page on its website to sharing ways that people can help raise money for cystic fibrosis. These range from participating in events run by CF charities such as 5km runs, walks, overseas fundraising trips, and other sporting challenges.
In addition, you can also make regular donations to a CF organization, leave money in your will, or organize your own event such as a garage or bake sale—the more fun it is, the more likely people will come and spend money.
