Making small daily behavioral changes can help you avoid infections while living with CF. Washing your hands for 60 seconds, coughing into your elbow, and wearing a mask in the clinic are behaviors you are familiar with.
My personal hacks include using hand sanitizer after every visit to a store or restaurant. Using an alcohol wipe to wipe down my phone when I come home and letting those around me know my health conditions so I don’t see them when they are ill.
What special precautions do you implement to avoid infections while living with CF?
