Yes my late diagnosis came at 66 yrs old just after my retirement. My gene type is rare and relatively mild. Kalydeco was made available for my gene type shortly after my diagnosis. The Kalydeco meds have definitely been a positive experience. So much so that I have planed a trip to Italy this coming fall.
