I’ve been tested for the common CF types. How do they know I don’t have one of the less common types and should I have a treatment plan? My lungs have been problematic since childhood, have gradually become worse. I have lived for over 60 years but my lungs are deteriorating. When I’m developing an infection my lungs gradually clog up and I get really sleepy. Over the years tendon and muscle pain have progressively accompanied these exacerbations and the bouts are extremely debilitating.
