My name is Mandy. I’m 45yrs old w CF. I live in the US, in Pensacola Florida. For the past 2 1/2 yrs most of my time and energy is devoted to being a full time foster mom to small breed dogs Through a small breed dog rescue I volunteer with in my town. I have 3 of my own dogs and usually have anywhere from 3-5 foster dogs at a time. So that makes a very crazy active house, but it’s the best thing I’ve ever done and love every crazy minute of it. Having CF and trying to date has many challenges,  as u all know. Now imagine after explaining our daily life w CF and then saying oh yeah there are 8 little dogs in my house and bed. Lol Before covid I worked part time as a licensed massage therapist for the past 17yrs. I’ve been stuck at home since march and can’t wait to enjoy the new health I’ve found from Trikafta as soon as covid isn’t a threat. Not to mention I miss working and being around people, cause like many of you I suffer from depression. Being around people helps keep me functioning and happy !! this year has been a different type of challenge then in the past, and if it wasn’t for my dogs and rescue I don’t know how I’d be doing today. Like all of you I’m just trying to find my way while licking CF’s butt!
