Hello! I am the parent of a very busy, dynamic, and smart 4 year old boy and a very sassy, assertive and smart 4 year old girl. Yes, they are twins! They are very different and alike at the same time. I know that probably doesn’t make sense to you but it makes a lot of sense to me.

My son was suspected of having CF at 3 days old and officially diagnosed at 3 or 4 months old. Meanwhile, his father, his sister and I are all CF carriers. He is the only person in our immediate and extended family with CF. His father and I are both uncertain where we got the CF mutation that was inevitably passed to our son. We had no idea what CF was when we met with a team of doctors in NICU 4 years ago. I was a wreck. I was overwhelmed. I was scared for my baby. I cried. I prayed. I cried some more. Finally, I got it together and told him as an infant “God chose me to be your mommy and I love you.  You are my son and I will do any and everything to keep you healthy and happy”.  And, our journey began.
