My best friend had CF; he died 20 years ago in 1999 after alMOST 10 years post double lung transplant… of course with all the complications that come from transplants and the antiretroviral and anti-rejection meds he developed DMII; had kidney hypertension? Non-healing ulcers on both feet and legs which eventually led to him being a double amputee before he finally got his peace from this world… If you were to add up all the years it has been since he has been gone and the number of years since his transplant… most of you CF folks might know who this Kenyans dedication memory is about. FOR REAL; that was back in the day when they didn’t do double lung transplants… they only did heart and double lung transplants. He was my best friend… no funny business going on at all… our kids (his son & my son and daughter) played and saw each other several times a week…

I miss him! I love him!!! And I will forever promote the progress and do everything I can to promote a cure or at least a stronger roadblock and microscopic “transformer desolation gene” that could be the ultimate wipe out CF widget(to say the least.
