CF Patient Performs on Stage With Country Star Luke Bryan

This Taste of Country video shares the heartwarming story of a cystic fibrosis patient who got the opportunity to sing and play his guitar onstage with his favorite country star.

Thirteen-year-old Ethan waited outside Luke Bryan’s Arlington, Texas concert hoping to sing a little for his hero and have the country star sign his guitar. What he actually got was much, much better. After hearing Ethan sing, Bryan asked if the boy would like to join him on stage to perform with him.     The headline says this is a cf patient but this reporter says he is a cancer survivor. How could there be such a mistake? Does he have cancer or cystic fibrosis?

    I want to know why the reporter said he’s a cancer survivor?? She needs to redo this report. That’s unforgivable. I have two sons with Cystic Fibrosis and there’s no chemo, no surgery… with cancer at least you have a chance. Cystic Fibrosis is genetic, fatal and incurable.
