As a mother of a 31 year young woman, mother of 2, who has SFP-C and ILD and will need a double transplant in the next 2-5 years. I found your presentation, while full of facts, your voice was arrogant, somewhat bored as you read off the information.

Your ending, “Lung Transplants – pretty good”. No I think, pretty scarey and thwart with battles and then you die. Try to sound a little more sensitive.

Actually this video was pretty good despite the sarcasm. It’s informative for people who are unfamiliar with lung transplants. I received my lungs almost 9 years ago, and despite the bumps in the road I have had, I must agree when he says “pretty good.” I wouldnt trade it for anything else in the world.

Haven’t seen the video, but I do not need to. I had a single lung transplant last year, and I am grateful for every day I have had since then. Yes, there are bumps in the road . . . so what. The alternative is to give up.

I celebrated the 2nd of July my 20 double lung transplantversary, and in August I’ll celebrate my 12th kidney transplantversary!! 🙂
