for Henry C Sierra: What would you expect a person with cystic fibrosis to do to make ends meet? Should they be dependent on the government to pay their bills and decide how much money they deserve each month to make ends meet even if they want to work and apparently is perfectly capable? My granddaughter has cystic fibrosis, should I tell her that she can not grow up to be anything she wants to be nor anything she dreams of being because she has cystic fibrosis and no one will want to hire her or give her a chance? My granddaughter wants to grow up to be a singer one day and this child with cystic fibrosis can sing better than most people. She sings at Opry’s and there are people who will come to see her perform because she has a beautiful voice and she is good on stage at only 8 years old. Should I hold her back though if it is what she really love’s to do? Is that fair to her? Would it be fair to anyone with cystic fibrosis? There are some wonderful and smart people with cystic fibrosis who have done countless wonderful things and you would never know they had it unless you were told. And there are also some wonderful and smart people who have been inspired to do wonderful things because of someone with cystic fibrosis.
