Trying to establish that either I’m just a carrier with GI, EPI, steatorrhea, elevated AST, elevated cholesterol, gall and kidney stones, etc. or have “atypical cystic fibrosis”. Only the F508del showed up on the basic 60 genetic test; sweat test only 39/44; pattern of bronchectitis not viewed as CF standard; ongoing intestinal permeability; ER hemoptysis ((pint) only once – at age 74, and I’m 76 now. So it doesn’t seem typical, but the GI symptoms have been a bit ‘crippling’ for the last 10 years and I’ve never had an explanation for the other symptoms.
