Hi my name is Andrew Tyrrell and I am a student in Waterford IT, Ireland living with CF. I have been on modulators since 2016, initially Orkambi and currently Kaftrio since 2020. I would say my health is good at the moment and the modulators have significantly improved my quality of life.

In addition to be a student, I have been coaching schoolboys soccer since 2017 which has helped me to maintain positive mental health but also enhanced my professional skills.

Academically, I am in my final year studying Public Health and Health Promotion and at the conclusion I hope to enrol in a graduate course with the goal of becoming a Dietitian. I am very interested in research and have a keen eye for diabetes, both type 1 and 2 and also CFRD.
