    For men with CF, there is an almost certainty of infertility. This can complicate things for having children. Also, since CF is a genetic disease, having a biological child ensures that the defective gene that causes CF will stay in the gene pool.

    1. For men in serious relationships, has the discussion regarding infertility come up with your significant other? How did you broach this heavy topic?
    2. What about the chance of your significant other being a carrier and thus potentially having a biological child with CF as well? How did you broach this topic?
