Let’s go with something fun and light! Almost everyone listens to music, and music, I find, helps me get through treatments and pass the time.

What music have you enjoyed this year? I’ve enjoyed new albums from the band Turnstile and rap duo Clipse. I’ve also been listening to Bruce Springsteen’s 1982 Nebraska album a lot.

I only recently began listening to music again, after years of craving silence. It’s definitely improved my spirit! So many great things to listen to but right now it’s Sublime (ska, I guess?), instrumentals featuring the vibraphone, especially Gary Burton, The Eagles, and 80’s metal (my 18yr daughter’s choice). Our phones gave really made music so easily accessible- and free. It adds another dimension to my life, which has been mostly homebound for a few months.

    Thanks, William!

In 2025, I listened to my usual rotation of music and artists. This new year, I am hoping to add in some new music to my regular lineup – especially music that can help me decompress, wind down, and alleviate my stress (especially while driving)!
