My grand daughter has CF. Diagnosed with provincial testing at birth. We were given diagnosis when she was a few weeks old. She attends a clinic every 3 months. So far all she does for treatment is thera pep twice daily and puffers. She has never been hospitalized. She has a rare gene and a common one. My daughter is a young mother and struggled at first with all the care required for our girl but with lots of family support she is in school & thriving.
