Memory Issues
I know a lot of people with CF have had issues with short term memory retention. I know my memory can’t always be reliable, and I’ve been trying to pin down what is up. I’ve read through several FB posts that some of the CFTR modulators (Orkambi, Symdeko, and triple combo) could affect memory and cause memory fog. Of course, post transplant patients also deal with a lot of memory issues (I have not had transplant). There are also other contributions and medications — like PPI’s/heartburn drugs that can influence memory, too.
Have you dealt with memory fog or poor memory?
