  1. Tammy Jacques says:

I have 2 different C.F mutations, Is this harder to treat than when a person only has one C.F. mutation ? Are there better treatments for us that have 2 different C.F mutations ?

    Thank you,,,,Tammy Jacques

    • Adi says:

      Hello Tammy,
This depends on your mutations… Can you share what they are?
Since most people are DDF508 or F508 heterozygous, most of the treatments and drug development focus on those combinations.

In terms of severity of CF: although some mutations correlate to milder forms of CF (r117h for example), most mutations don’t play a significant factor in condition progression.

You are welcome to join genefo.com/cf to meet with other patients that share your mutations 🙂

      Have a great day,
