Baby face?
The other day, on the phone, someone asked if my mama was home. Not the head of the household, not my mother, my “mama.” As if she were talking to a child.
This is not the first time something like this has happened.
It happens in real life, too. Although it’s happening less and less now that I’ve earned some grey hair and my face is starting to age. But I still frequently hear things like “you look way too young to have a 10 year old kid!”
Several of my CF friends have been told similar things! Is there something about CF that makes us appear younger than we are?
Have you gotten comments about looking young? Do people assume you’re younger than you are? Do you have any funny stories or experiences about someone mistaking your age?
