• Siblinghood and CF

When two carriers of CF have a child, there is a 1 in 4 chance that that child will have CF. That same likelihood is true for any children after the first, which means families with multiple children with CF is relatively common. In my case, I have CF and my sister had CF.

    1. For people that have CF and their only other sibling had it as well: Do you feel like your relationship was stronger or weaker because of that shared experiences? In what ways?
    2. For people with CF and have siblings without CF: Do you feel like you were treated differently for having CF? In what ways?
    3. There are obviously a ton of different possible combinations and it’s interesting to think about how CF affects our relationships with our family members, so if your situation is different than the ones listed above, how do you feel like your life was in comparison to your siblings?
