  Traveling for clinic

  I personally have to travel 3 hours for CF clinic. There is a clinic in my city that is closer, but I know they aren’t as equipped as I would like my CF care team to be. So, I opted to see a clinic 3 hours away.
  
  I am used to my care team being in my city, so this has been an adjustment for me. Especially because, I can’t just go to clinic whenever I feel like I need to be seen, and getting sick 3 hours away is a little scary because my team isn’t here. It’s sometimes frustrating and a little saddening that I can’t easily develop a relationship with my care team. However, the more I see this clinic the more I recognize this is the best option for my health and my future.
  
  Slowly I’m developing a relationship with this team. And, I trust my pulmonologist, which is absolutely necessary.
  
  What’re your experiences with traveling for care?
