Natalie Woolf, 7-time world champion exhibition dancer and recipient of the Carl Alan Award, didn’t want to disclose her fight with cystic fibrosis (CF) for fear of not being judged on merit, but by pity. Now, changed by CF, she shares her journey with the world and invites each of us along.

I have Cystic Fibrosis. I’m almost 37 and am now fighting the big fight. My short term goal for now is to gain enough weight to get onto the lung transplant list. I dream of new lungs. A new life. A second chance. And while there is life, there is hope.
