In 2015, Bradley Bjornstad shared a short film he made in 2011 with his wife Kari called Breathe: Battle with Cystic Fibrosis. The beautifully shot film features footage of Kari in hospital receiving treatment for an infection and highlights how susceptible people with cystic fibrosis are to infections and how dangerous they can be.

Meet four cystic fibrosis warriors, all with different stories.

Sadly, Kari lost her battle with cystic fibrosis in August 2015, but Bradley hopes this film will honor his wife’s memory and help to raise awareness and much-needed money to fund research into future treatments and ultimately into finding a cure.

This Gunnar Esiason podcast covers the topic of dating with cystic fibrosis.
