In this video from the Cystic Fibrosis Trust in the U.K., Jessica Jones–a cystic fibrosis patient–talks about joint pain. She shares that she’s been suffering from cystic-fibrosis-related arthritis (CFA) for six years, and while not life-threatening, the condition restricts her life on a daily basis.

Jessica talks to Professor Michael McDermot from the Leeds Institute of Rheumatic and Musculoskeletal Medicine about research into the condition. McDermot explains that his team is looking into links between inflammation in the lungs and inflammation in the joints of cystic fibrosis patients and researching possible therapies.
