#TBT: Teen With CF Inspires OneRepublic Music Video

Back in 2014, 15-year-old Bryan Warnecke was the inspiration for a OneRepublic music video. The video for the song “I Lived” features Bryan going about his everyday business–having cystic fibrosis treatments, cycling, and playing ice hockey.

The sports-obsessed teenager from Colorado explains how he wants to have as much fun as possible and that although he lives with cystic fibrosis, he is determined to get the most out of life, sentiments that are echoed in the lyrics of the song. As well as appearing in his home state’s band’s video, Bryan also got together with his cycling teammates to cycle over 1,200 miles to raise $300,000 for cystic fibrosis research. Find out more about the video and song here.
