Some cystic fibrosis symptoms can make it difficult for patients to exercise, but studies have determined that regular physical activity can have a significant impact on improving a patient’s quality of life.

Healing in the Surf is a story about Travis Suit and his daughter Piper, that talks about the incredible healing benefits of Mother Ocean on those living with cystic fibrosis.

The short documentary chronicles their relationship and Suit’s recent 90-mile stand-up paddleboard challenge called “Crossing for a Cure.”

The campaign raised awareness and money to help support cystic fibrosis research.
