Medications: Has Anyone Tried Marinol Before?
I am about to start on Marinol for the first time (to help with my sometimes insufferable nausea and hopefully increase appetite and weight gain), and I was curious if anyone else has benefited from this medication before?
Have you tried it and how did it impact you?
My hope is to gain about 10 pounds overall this year (at least), but sometimes it feels like any time I make progress in the eating department, something will happen with my GI or health that sets me back to square one. I used to about 15 – 20 pounds heavier (without trying) as a young adult, but since a digestive decline in my 20s, I haven’t been able to get back to it fully.

James took Marinol last summer for a week or two. All it did for him was make him really sleepy. He was having a serious health crisis, and his appetite was virtually non existent. We didn’t notice any significant change to appetite, just the sleepiness. Hope it works well for you!
