Natural disasters and CF
Earlier this month, the city of Los Angeles experienced rabid wildfires that burned through the city and destroyed an estimated 10,000 homes. Claire’s Place Foundation has set up an emergency fund to help those with CF.
Unfortunately, natural disasters can happen anywhere at any moment. For example, I lived through Hurricane Sandy in 2012.
Do you have a plan in case a natural disaster happens? Have you lived through one before? Do you have any tips if you have lived through a natural disaster for those who haven’t?

I unfortunately do not, but it is always on my mind. Perhaps I should start with setting aside an emergency kit with a mini electric generator. This always weighs on my mind during this time of the year, as hurricane season has kicked off, and having lived through a few (rare!) earthquakes in the tri-state area recently.
