You must have been hibernating if you haven’t heard of or seen the latest craze to sweep the world: it’s called bottle flipping. Children around the globe are annoying their families and teachers by spending hours tossing half full plastic bottles of water to see if they can make it land upright, with extra kudos if you can get it to land on its lid.

Read about six cystic fibrosis treatments and therapies.

Matt Rogers, the host of the Hallmark Channel’s Home and Family show is using the trend to help raise awareness of cystic fibrosis.

In the video, we see Matt and his family celebrating their two-year-old daughter Sara’s attempt at the bottle flip challenge. Amazingly, the adorable toddler manages to achieve the challenge on her second attempt, much to the delight of her family. Sara was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis in early infancy and has to undergo up to two hours of airway clearance treatments each day.

Rogers posted the video online to help raise awareness of cystic fibrosis by challenging people to complete a bottle flip twice in a row. If you’re successful, you get to nominate two other people to take up the challenge, but if you fail you have to make a donation to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s Pipeline To A Cure.
