Seventeen-year-old Lily Royer was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis just before her first birthday. According to a report on CBS Denver, despite taking regular trips to the Colorado Children’s hospital for treatment and spending three hours each day doing necessary airway clearance, the Aspen, Colorado native was able to find time to design, create and sell greetings cards to raise money for cystic fibrosis research.

How this 19-year-old embraces life with terminal cystic fibrosis.

Lily’s cards can be bought locally in Aspen and also on the Lilybart website, where other children with cystic fibrosis can collaborate with her to make their own cards. Learn more about Lily, her journey with CF and her artwork in this Bart Garton video.
