According to the West Plains Daily Quill, the country music band Lonestar has announced they’ll be playing a cystic fibrosis benefit concert at the West Plains Civic Center in Missouri.

Lonestar has been making music and touring for 22 years and was nominated for the People’s Choice award for favorite country group last month. If that wasn’t enough, three of the band’s albums have gone platinum.

The concert will take place on Saturday, March 18, 2017, and the band will be joined by the youth ensemble Jessica’s Friends. Tickets are available for the event through the Civic Center website or call 256-8123 and at various local points in West Plains.

Last year, the same event was headlined by Diamond Rio and raised more than $67,000 for cystic fibrosis organizations.
