Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Pens Open Letter to President Trump

As the new president’s administration is still in the act of revising health care policies, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation along with 72 other non-profit organizations wrote an open letter to President Trump and Congress to explain their concerns about any amends to the health care system and what it may mean for people who have chronic illnesses.

The letter expresses the organizations’ hopes that any changes will take into account the needs of cystic fibrosis patients and others with long-term progressive conditions and that they will be able to continue to receive affordable and adequate health insurance.

Many people with serious illnesses are concerned about what the changes to health care means for them, what will happen if the Affordable Care Act is repealed, and what will become of Medicaid.
