The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation has a series of videos aimed at helping parents with children who have been recently diagnosed with cystic fibrosis.

Find out more about the three areas of treatment for cystic fibrosis.

The videos cover all aspects of care within the first year of diagnosis and look at the emotional impact as well as how to manage the physical aspects of the disease. Parents of children with cystic fibrosis describe their reactions to diagnosis and talk about how they coped in the first few months.  In addition, they also offer advice for giving enzymes to infants, how to perform airway clearance techniques on babies, and nutrition tips.

The final video in the series is an adult with cystic fibrosis explaining how she coped growing up with the disease, the challenges she faced, and how she accomplished her personal milestones.

Learn about seven airway clearance techniques.
