Josh Llewellyn-Jones Completes Mammoth 24-Hour Fitness Challenge For Cystic Fibrosis

Regular readers of Cystic Fibrosis News Today will remember Welsh CFer Josh Llewellyn-Jones. The fitness fanatic was training to complete a 24-hour fitness challenge that would push his body and mind to their very limit in order to raise money and awareness of cystic fibrosis.

Josh’s immense challenge consisted of running 10 miles, rowing 20 miles, cycling 100 miles, 10 miles of cross training, swimming two miles, lifting 100 tons and completing a staggering 3,000 sit-ups, 1,000 press-ups, and 1,000 squats.

Amazingly, Josh not only succeeded in this extraordinary fitness challenge but smashed it — completing the challenge in just 22 hours. He was cheered on by the cystic fibrosis community all over the world.  His gargantuan efforts have raised more than £25,000 so far for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

Congratulations to Josh and his team on this fantastic achievement and for being such an inspiration to others living with cystic fibrosis. He’s made the entire CF community extremely proud.
