Ontario Man Does Month’s Worth of Odd Jobs for #CFAwarenessMonth

As part of Cystic Fibrosis Awareness Month, a man from Ontario has decided to spend the entire month doing odd jobs to raise money for cystic fibrosis charities.

Mike Farwell’s idea started as a touching tribute to the two sisters he lost to cystic fibrosis. In the video from CBC News, he explains that the disease took the lives of his sisters — Luanne at the age of 24 and Sheri at the age of 18.

Mike is now in his fourth year of “Farwell 4 Hire” where local residents and companies enlist his help for a variety of jobs, from yard work to washing dishes, in exchange for donations to Cystic Fibrosis Canada. Mike is hoping to top last year’s fundraising total of $47,000 and reach a whopping $50,000.
