Nearly 11,000 people in the U.K. have been diagnosed with cystic fibrosis (CF), a chronic genetic disease that affects the lungs, pancreas, stomach, and liver.  There is currently no cure for CF, but there are treatments to help ease the symptoms.

In this Cystic Fibrosis & Me video, meet Mark Haywood as he embarks on a journey to his local hospital in Leeds, England, to have a long line fitted for a two-week course of IV treatments. The 27-year-old shares his experience with cystic fibrosis through vlogs and Twitter posts to help raise awareness of CF and donations for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust UK.
