#NACFC2016 – Pre-Conference Special Classes and Short Courses

The annual North American Cystic Fibrosis Conference (NACFC) is happening from October 27 to 29, and this year the 30th annual event will be staged in Orlando, Fla. Cystic Fibrosis News Today will offer daily follow-up coverage of the NACFC, which is expected to draw medical professionals, scientists, and other delegates who work in the cystic fibrosis field from all over the world.

In addition to the main conference, on Wednesday, Oct. 26, there will be some special classes and short courses which can be attended at the venue. They will run concurrently and pre-registration is required (spots are limited).

The courses are aimed at healthcare providers who are either new or moving into the cystic fibrosis field and cover topics such as pharmaceuticals, airway clearance techniques, nutrition, patient communication, exercise testing, self-care, depression and anxiety in CF, and clinical research.

Proteostasis to present early phase 1 trial data for potential CF therapy at NACFC16.
