Recently, a team of scientists from Ulster University, in Northern Ireland, United Kingdom, had joined a global research study seeking alternative treatment options for patients with cystic fibrosis-related diabetes (CFRD).

In this Cystic Fibrosis Trust video, Ciara Hillyer, a photographer and vlogger, meets Prof James Shaw, an expert in investigating the causes of diabetes among cystic fibrosis patients.
