When the California-based singer-songwriter Rivvrs contacted Bradley Bjornstad to make the official video for his single “Conquer,” Bjornstad was humbled. The video wouldn’t just showcase the beautiful music of Rivvrs but also be a dedication to his late wife, Kari, who died in August 2015 following complications of cystic fibrosis.

Cystik1 talks about what cystic fibrosis means to him, not the medical side of the disease, but the emotional toll it takes and how it affects him and other CFers on a personal level.

The lyrics of the song explain the struggles many cystic fibrosis patients face everyday, while the video features footage of Kari in Oregon during her final months before she succumbed to the disease.
