Tributes Pour In for Makeup Artist Who Lost Her Life to Cystic Fibrosis

According to Yahoo News, Nardya Miller, the Brisbane-based makeup artist who made the brave decision to announce on Facebook that she was losing her battle with CF, passed away yesterday surrounded by her family and fiancé. She was 25 years old.

She used the social media platform to explain to her family, friends and clients that her body was rejecting her donated lungs and shutting down. Doctors had given her only a week to live. Although the situation was incredibly sad, Nardya’s message incredibly positive as she hoped to bring joy to those who knew her and encouraged everyone to live their lives to the fullest. Nardya underwent a double lung transplant two years ago when her lung function become critically low due to cystic fibrosis. However, over the past few months, she had been battling organ rejection and needed oxygen 24 hours a day.

Following the news of Nardya’s death, tributes have flooded in for the popular girl who inspired people all over the world, and had become an advocate for organ donation. We send our heartfelt condolences to her family, fiancé, and friends.
