Stomach issues
Last week I was having some severe stomach pain. It was to the point where it was debilitating and I almost had to go to the ER. I drank some Miralax and upped my dosage of omeprazole after chatting with my doctor. It seems like it’s significantly helped with my stomach problems.
- Have you had stomach pain? Do you know what caused it?
- Are you on omeprazole?
- What solved the problem, if it was solved? (I’m so sorry if it wasn’t!)

1) Yes. My gallbladder went septic earlier this year. I also experienced pain in my appendix, which was caused by inflammation.

3) Surgery! I had my gallbladder and appendix removed two months later.-
1. I’ve had little GI involvement with my CF. I think growing up I had worse problems than I do now. I used to not be able to tolerate some really fatty foods (probably some pancreatic insuffiency I was dealing with, but refusing to take enzymes)
2. I’m on omeprazole, but since starting the triple combo — I’m noticing my acid reflux doesn’t quite exist. Kinda wild
