CF Foundation President Predicts 2019 Will be a ‘Pivotal Year’ for CF Therapies
A baby born with cystic fibrosis (CF) today can now expect to live a median 44 years, says Preston W. Campbell, MD, president and CEO of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF). Dr. Campbell likes to call progress in treating CF “the most amazing story in medicine today”, and he says 2019 will be a “pivotal year” for CF patients and researchers.
