  Reflecting on middle and high school

  My sister and I had vastly different experiences during our formative years in school. There were lots of reasons for that – she was a girl, I’m a guy, she was sicker, and I was healthier. A ton of things come into play into what affects all of that.

  1. During these years, were you open about having CF? How did you tell peers about CF, if you did (not specifically close friends but I was open with many of my acquaintances about it too)?
  2. Did you feel like having CF affected the way others treated you? In what ways?
  3. What were some particularly positive or negative experiences that may have come from others being aware of you having CF?
