I know there has been a lot of discussion about kids returning to school in some areas or whether or not to allow them during Covid times (I wrote my own thoughts on Instagram yesterday), but I was wondering about everyone’s experience with school growing up?

I was diagnosed late in life and never had to deal with the worry of getting sick from other kids. (I did, of course, but wasn’t cognizant of it. I was also homeschooled from second grade on, which likely helped a little.)

What was your parents’ approach to school and sickness for you as a kid? Or, for parents, what has your approach been in the past?
