Travel Thoughts: Virus Getting Worse?
My family is currently on a road trip and trying to be our safest.
It is weird traveling during a pandemic… but especially when it’s starting to “pick back up”, so to speak. It had truly felt like the light was beginning to be at the end of the tunnel, and that committing to this little budget hideaway beach stay wasn’t an irresponsible move. (It’s the same trip we tried to take last year, but ended up canceling because things were much worse in terms of the virus.)
So even though we haven’t cancelled the trip and are all finally vaccinated, I’m still super nervous about doing the right thing… not bringing germs back to my underage dancers or family members… and so on.
As concern about viral numbers have been growing lately:
Do you feel more hesitant about traveling?
How has your perspective on travel changed from this time last summer to now?
We are just road-tripping and then “holing” up quietly (other than outside with the sand and sun!)… but guilt is a powerful mistress. I’d love to know your thoughts, if willing to share.
