What does a typical appointment day look like for you?
Earlier this week, I had an appointment at my hospital that we were unfortunately unable to coordinate and combine with one of my recurring study visits. Since I live 2.5 hours away, I like to pack as many appointments as possible into a single trip, but sometimes… that just isn’t possible.
My appointment this week lasted less than 30 minutes, which meant 5 hours in the car for less than half an hour with my doctor. Oftentimes, whether I’m there for a study or CF clinic, I spend at least 2-3 hours in the building. It was an important visit, well worth the drive, but being in and out so quickly felt very strange.
What does a typical appointment day look like for you? How far do you live from your care center? Once there, how much time do you usually spend in clinic or your doctor’s office?
