Claire’s Place Foundation 2025 ball to raise funds for CF families
2025 Miss America to be honored for raising awareness of cystic fibrosis

The Clairity Ball — the hallmark annual event of Claire’s Place Foundation — is set to return to Southern California later this month with an evening of fundraising that will bring together celebrities and champions of the cystic fibrosis (CF) community.
The nonprofit’s May 31 ball, to be held at the Fairmont Miramar Hotel in Santa Monica, aims to raise funds to support children and families affected by CF. The evening features cocktails, dinner, and an awards presentation, followed by casino games and dancing.
This year’s event will feature Abbie Stockard, Miss America 2025, who will receive the Clairity Advocacy Award in recognition of her efforts to raise awareness about CF. Inspired by a lifelong friend, Maddie, who lives with CF, Stockard has advocated for research, better access to treatments, and support for CF families.
“We are deeply honored to recognize Abbie Stockard with our Clairity Advocacy Award,” Melissa Yeager, executive director of Claire’s Place Foundation, said in a press release from the organization. “Her commitment to raising awareness and championing those with CF is greatly needed. With Abbie by our side, we know our message will reach even more families in need of assistance, and we’re hopeful that her voice will also inspire new supporters and donors to join our mission.”

Stockard, a senior at Auburn University, is pursuing a degree in pediatric nursing. She’s also a national brand ambassador for CF, and will be spending her year as Miss America traveling the country advocating for research into the genetic disease.
“Maddie gave me more than a friendship; she gave me a purpose,” Stockard said. “She is my why, my inspiration, and my forever best friend. Just like I promised Maddie at the tender age of nine, I will not stop until the ‘CF’ in cystic fibrosis stands for ‘Cure Found.’”
The glam-casual event, themed Casino Royale, will run from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tickets are $300 per person, and a range of sponsorship packages are also available. Those unable to attend can still support the cause by making a donation.

Two other awards will also be presented at this year’s Clairity Ball. Sebastian Stan, Golden Globe-winning actor, will receive the Clairity Impact Award for his efforts to amplify the foundation’s mission. Earlier this year, Stan donated tickets for a fan and guest to join him on the red carpet at the world premiere of the movie “Thunderbolts.” Tickets were raffled by Claire’s Place, with all proceeds supporting CF families.
The Clairity Rising Star Award will go to Brookelyn Hardy, who has helped to raise funds through the Glow Ride event and her team, #ClaireStrong. The 2025 Glow Ride evening event is scheduled for September 20 in Hermosa Beach and supports the foundation’s Extended Hospital Stay Grant Program for CF families.
