“Up For Air” Documentary Now Available Online

The story of cystic fibrosis patient Jerry Cahill has been turned into a documentary film called Up For Air. Fifty-nine-year-old Jerry is a super-fit pole vaulter who credits his longevity to his vigorous exercise regime.  You can watch the trailer produced by Navigo Productions.

The documentary follows Jerry over a period of five years, both before and after he undergoes a double lung transplant after his lung function starts to seriously deteriorate. The documentary is now available to buy or rent, with sale proceeds from the film going towards the Boomer Esiason Foundation to help raise awareness and funds for better treatment and ultimately, a cure for cystic fibrosis.
