The Boomer Esiason Foundation has announced it’s now accepting applications for the 2016-2017 Sacks for CF scholarships. Each time a quarterback is sacked during the NFL’s Monday night football game, a donation is made to the organization’s scholarship fund from one of its corporate partners.
The scholarships are given each year to 30 students with cystic fibrosis and each scholarship is worth between $3,000 and $10,000. Applications are being accepted for the scholarships until January 13, 2017, and the lucky recipients will be announced after the Super Bowl on Sunday, February 5, 2017.
