Last week’s hot topic on Cystic Fibrosis was about the Cystic Fibrosis Progression Traced to Acidity in Airway Liquid written by Margarida Azevedo.

The article is focused on why mice that carry cystic fibrosis (CF) mutations do not develop the serious lung disease observed in human CF patients.

Thanks to this University of Iowa researchers, we are closer to a new therapeutic target that might stop CF progression.
